Amy is from Northern Ireland and holds a MSc (merit) in physiotherapy from Teesside University alongside a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow. Since becoming a Physiotherapist, Amy has completed NHS rotations in Stroke Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Care of the Elderly and Surgical Rehabilitation. She then worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in a private practice in Leeds, England before making the move to Queenstown.
She is a certified APPI Pilates instructor and enjoys using Pilates with patients to ease pain, decrease injury risk and improve sporting performance. Amy combines this with hands on techniques, strength work and patient education to assist patients in achieving their goals. Her love of sports has brought her to Queenstown. Amy is a qualified ski instructor and taught in Whistler for two seasons. She regularly competes in trail running and mountain biking events, alongside playing Gaelic football and hockey with local teams. She is excited to treat the Queenstown community and help them get back to enjoying their favourite activity.
